2010 Miami Dolphins Schedule

dolphinsFans are excited about the 2010 Miami Dolphins Schedule. The Miami Dolphins in 2009 opened and closed with bookend losing streaks of three games each, that effectively stymied any chance that the team had of making the the post season. Miami finished the year with a 7-9 record in the AFC East division, behind New England and the New York Jets, in third place.

Chad Pennington started the year for Miami, but in Week 3 suffered a devastating shoulder injury that kept him out for the rest of the season, and leaves him questionable as the starter for 2010. It is likely that Chad Henne will start opening weekend, as he took over the told last season and tabbed nearly 3,000 yards passing throughout the remaining 13 games of the season.

The Dolphins gave up an average of 24 points last season, while scoring 23. Miami remained in the playoff picture entering the last several weeks of the season, but the three-game losing streak to close out the year ended it in a hurry. They were 7-6 and in a battle for the AFC East Crown with New England and New York before stumbling in.

Looking ahead to the 2010 Miami Dolphins Season Schedule, they will face the NFC North in the out-of-conference schedule, that features games against Minnesota and Green Bay who both made the post season last season. Additionally, Miami will face three more teams who made the playoffs in Baltimore, New England, Cincinnati and the New York Jets. The Dolphins will face the Jets and Patriots each twice, making for a total of eight games against playoff teams from a year ago.
