2010 Houston Texans Schedule

There is little doubt fans in Houston will looking towards the 2010 Houston Texans Schedule for the same success they experienced in 2009, despite missing the playoffs. In 09, the Houston Texans tabbed their best finish in the AFC South division finishing the runner-up to the Indianapolis Colts with a record of 9-7 on the season. That was better than the Tennessee Titans (8-8) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (7-9). For the longest time the Colts have had a strangle hold on the AFC South division, but the Texans have been gaining ground and playing competitive games against the champions. Will 2010 be the season that the Texans win the AFC South? We'll soon see.

Despite the fact that the Texans lost both the to the Colts in 2009, the Texans' 2010 NFL Schedule presents them with the opportunity to get one or two in the win column against them, among the other teams they are slated to face.

Quarterback Matt Schaub has the best season of his career, throwing for nearly 4,800 yards to go along with 29 touchdown passes. He did throw 15 interceptions, and will need to come down on that and work on turnovers, but he will have plenty of weapons to give the ball to on offense, most notably wide receiver Andre Johnson.

Looking ahead to the 2010 Houston Texans Season Schedule, they get a chance to tackle the NFC East, which could present them for some difficult tests. Additionally, the teams opens up against Indianapolis which will be an early challenge.
