2010 NFL Week 15 Matchups | 2010 NFL Weekly Matchups

The 2009 NFL Week 15 Preview features teams fighting for playoff spots with only a few weeks left in the season. While some divisions will likely be already decided by this week, many divisions will still be up for grabs. Week 15 games may be the difference between a team making the playoffs or coming up just short. A rare Saturday night NFL game will take place this week when the New Orleans Saints host the Dallas Cowboys. This features two of the NFL's premiere Quarterbacks. The Saints Drew Brees led the NFL with over 5,000 yards passing in 2008. Cowboy's QB Tony Romo is hoping to return to Pro Bowl form after a sub par injury filled season a year ago. Both offenses are dynamic and this Saturday night game will be a treat for NFL fans to watch. The Monday Night Game will also be a great one featuring NFC East rivals the New York Giants and Washington Redskins. At least one of these teams will be fighting for the division title in Week 15 and this game will have great importance in the NFC East. Can Eli Manning lead the Giants into Washington and overcome a solid Redskins defense in this Week 15 divisional match up?

A season ago Matt Ryan came into the league and immediately found success leading the Falcons to the playoffs and winning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. The New York Jets excited their fan base this off season by moving up in the draft and selecting QB Mark Sanchez with the 5th overall pick. Sanchez will be one of the favorites for the 2009 Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. It will be interesting to see if the Jet's Quarterback can have the kind of success that Ryan had in his rookie season. The Falcons had an explosive offense a season ago and will be even better on that side of the ball in 2009. New Head Coach Rex Ryan is known for his defensive mentality as the former Ravens Defensive Coordinator. He will have a tough task in trying to slow down the balanced Falcons attack. Will Mark Sanchez outperform the 2008 Rookie of the Year and stake a claim in winning the award himself in 2009?
