City Center Las Vegas Opening in Months, Applications Being Accepted

Gambling News - August 1st, 2009 - Written by Glen

Over 9,000 jobs are needing to be filled, and the City Center Las Vegas has begun to take applications through their website. According to them, this is the largest employment opportunity available in the United States. As unemployment rates are on this rise, the City Center is set to deal a blow to the nationwide rates.

Positions are open through ARIA Resort and Casino, Crystals, and Vdara Hotel. Additionally, employment may be found at the non-gaming hotel, Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. Dubai World and MGM Mirage are the primary share holders of the project, and MGM Mirage has been long hailed as one of the premier employers within the states.

Jobs available include Food and Beverage positions, Hotel and Casino operations, retail, entertainment, finance, human resources, facilities, security, and others. These positions are all open to qualified candidates, and the number of open positions shrinks daily. More and more potential employees are beginning to sign up.

They feature an all inclusive benefits package, including competitive wages, health care, and retirement. Fortune has declared MGM Mirage as one of the Top 50 Companies in the U.S. for minorities, and the Nevada Business Journal named them one of the "best companies to work for."

More opportunities will open in 2010. If you miss your opportunity now, the opening of the Harmon, a 400-room luxury hotel, will give you another chance when 2010 arrives. The City Center is a massive project, and the number of jobs being delivered is not to be trifled with.

Members of MGM Mirage's workforce are regularly rewarded, and each employee has a chance to advance within the company. Sixty Seven acres of land are occupied by the future site of the City Center, and the beautiful landscape is meant to boost revenues for MGM Mirage significantly. Eighteen Million square feet of architecture will house the project, and the future of Vegas is bound to be improved by MGM Mirage's City Center Las Vegas.
