2009 WSOP Event 50 - Limit Hold 'Em Shootout

USA Poker WSOP 2009 WSOP 2009 WSOP Event 50 Limit Hold 'Em

The 40th Annual World Series of Poker 2009 Event 50 is the Limit Hold’em Shootout (1000 players max) tournament. This is the 50th event at this year’s WSOP and it has a low buy-in of $1500 which should attract a lot of professionals to this tournament. Despite the low buy-in, this tournament did not fill its maximum capacity of 1000 people last year, and was a little short with 823 players participating; hopefully this year should see a rise in numbers. The winner of last year’s tournament, Matthew Graham, lined his pockets with over $200,000 in prizes. It must be noted that all players of the WOP 2009 must be over 21 years of age.

2009 WSOP Event 50 Limit Hold 'Em Shootout is a 1,000 player max poker tournament with a low $1,500 buy in. The event will begin on the 26th of June at 5 pm and will take place in 29 levels. All players will begin the first day with $4500 in tournament chips. Players who reach the second day will start with $45,000, and players on the third and final day will start with $450,000. All levels will last for one hour with a twenty minute break after every two rounds.
