2009 WSOP Event 25 - Omaha/ Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better

USA Poker WSOP 2009 WSOP 2009 WSOP Event 15 $5000 No Limit Hold Em

Event #25 in the 2009 WSOP is the Omaha or the Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better tourney. Like most of the WSOP events, this tourney has also been organized as a three day event with an initial buy-in of $2,500. This particular event attracted more than 388 players last year with a total prize money pool of $892,400 and this year is expected to be equally robust or even better.

Players are given $5,000 in chips at the beginning. And as with most other games in the WSOP, all levels will last for 60 minutes with 20 minute breaks being allowed to players at every two levels. Games will swap hands every eight turns. It is expected that 5.8% of the total entry pool will be set aside as entry fees and 2.4% will be retained for the tournament staff. The tournament has been structured for ante bids from Level 1 to start at $25 with small blinds at $25 and completion or big blinds at $75 with an outer limit of $75-$150. This is a limited game; the maximum permissible limits within which players can place wagers are specified unlike a no-limits game. This is going to be a great Event 25 - Omaha/ Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better tournament.
