2009 WSOP Event 13 - $2,500 No Limit Hold Em

USA Poker WSOP 2009 WSOP 2009 WSOP Event 13 $2500 No Limit Hold Em

The 2009 WSOP Event #13 is a No Limit Hold’em tournament that has been around for a few years now, so most professionals know what to expect with this tournament. The buy-in for this tournament has been kept at a very reasonable $2500 to encourage larger participation, and this seemed to have worked with almost 1400 players participating last year. Going with last year’s event, Duncan Bell emerged the winner and went away with $666,777 in prizes. This year’s event is expected to bring in a larger crowd, and the relatively low buy-in is definitely an encouragement. This tournament is also an exciting tournament to watch, so there should be quite a bit of media and viewership at this event.

The 2009 WSOP event #13 is among the lowest buy-in games at the World Series. The event begins on the 5th of June and spans 3 days. Players start their game with $7500 in tournament chips. The game is structured like all other tournaments in this year’s WSOP with 60 minute levels and 20 minutes break after every 2 levels and a dinner break of 90 minutes is given after the 6th level. The final table will take place at 2 pm on the 7th of June. Of the entry pool, the organizers will withhold 9% for staff and entry fees.
