wcoopPokerStars, the largest online poker room, as been running the World Championship of Online Poker the entire month of September. Bracelets were handed out, as well as millions of dollars. Over $40 million dollars was guaranteed, and the games are coming to a close on September 20th.

Whether you cannot make the WSOP in Vegas, the World Poker Tours, and any other major poker tournament that hands out huge prizes and jewelery, or you just wish to participate in a solid poker tournament, the World Championship of Online Poker would easily satiate the desire for poker. PokerStars is one of the most trusted poker rooms, and these tournaments are no different.

The events have run the whole gamut from Pot Limit Omaha to stud and back to Texas Hold 'em, each with different buy ins and pay outs. Satellites have run, and still are, for entrance  into the bigger tournaments. The final event is on the horizon, which will last two days. This may be one of the largest online poker tournaments in the history of Internet Poker.

The Main Event will emulate that of the World Series of Poker's Main event. This tournament will be a $5,200 dollar buy in tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000,000 dollars. Satellites are open for this tournament, and any player may attend regardless of professional status.

Players who have not already joined PokerStars will find a $600 dollar, 100% match bonus upon signing up. This bonus can be used to help pay for tournament buy ins, though players are urged to deposit enough to cover the tournament's entrance fee. Time is running out on this massive pots and shot at a bracelet, glory, and pride.
