PokerStars Running Casting Call for a $1M TV Challenge

An exclusive promotion running through PokerStars is currently allowing players a shot at $1 million dollars cash by playing in front of a nationally televised poker game against one of the pros. Daniel Negreanu has stepped up to the plate, and will offer his head for the chopping block.

The enter for the chance, a series of qualifiers will be held. These qualifiers will run four times daily, with one starting every hour from 8PM to 11PM, ET. Those who rank in the top ten will then be required to send a short video explaining why you feel you are worthy of the event. The pool will then be drained of more players as PokerStars begins to select which players they feel would perform best on television.

The winners will advance into a series of heads up matches to determine  who will move further. The heads up matches will pit the players against the Team Pokerstars pros, as well as other high profile poker players. Those who are in this segment will be able to take home cash along the way, as well as receive coaching tips from Negreanu. The winner of this event will move on to the main event, a heads up competition against Negreanu himself. Should the player best Negreanu, a guaranteed $100,000 dollars will be diverted to the winner's bank account. Advancing from Negreanu gives the player a shot at $1,000,000.

The best part of this tournament? Entrance is completely free. The qualifying tournaments are listed under the "freerolls" section of the Tournament tab. The qualifiers are running every day, leaving players with a chain of possibilities. PokerStars also offers regular tournaments, sit-and-go tournaments, and cash games.
