2009 WSOP Event 4 Soon to End as Event 5 Continues

Out of 6012 competitors, we are down to the final 50 players of event 4 the No Limit Hold 'Em tournament of the 2009 WSOP. After several days at play a nearly down to a small amount of players, Danny Fuhs is head of the pack with a chip count of 1,112,000. Not to far behind is Eric Chhor with over 999,000 in chips. Steve Ma continues the competition with a chip count of 79,000. Many of the 50 players are not far behind these top three which should make for some interesting card playing as the No Limit Hold 'Em event 4 of the 2009 World Series of poker continues today where we will name the winner and award yet another bracelet.

With Event 5 the Pot Limit Omaha already in play, Day one of this event brought out 809 competitors who got in on all the action with a small buy in of $1,500. After a long day of challenges and an awesome display of card skills, Day 1 was ended with the final 81 players set to continue the tournament on Tuesday June 2, 2009. Jason Mercier will start day 2 with a chip count of 227,000, which is over 88,000 chips more than the his closest competitor .
