Barney Frank Set To Release Plan To Reverse UIGEA To Public

May 4, 2009 - Wrote By Haley

The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act is an issue that has been brought before legislative several times, only to be shot down by the then republican led congress. Representative Barney Frank, as well as many Americans, believe that this law restricts people from being able to choose how they spend their leisure time as well as their hard earned cash. People all over the world enjoy the amenities of online gambling and feel that our government should not have the right to make those type of decisions for us.

Political officials has spent so much time and effort focusing on the negative aspects of online gambling, that they have overlooked all the positive that can come out of making online gambling legal. Legalizing gambling can bring forth much needed assistance to our struggling economy. Over the past year alone we have seen some of the biggest car industries, mortgage companies, and large industries in general, slowly fading away. The online gambling industry can and will bring in a lot of money, and quickly.

Barney Frank is set to make public his plan to reverse the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act sometime this week. With a Democratic led congress and several other lawmakers on board, Frank hopes to help give Americans back the freedom to decide how and where they spend their hard earned cash. This week will hopefully hold good news for the politicians who are working hard to give Americans the right to be able to participate in Legal Online Gambling. Whether you are an avid gambler or just simply like to play for fun, the right to be able to enjoy online gambling from the comfort of your home could very well be a option in the week to come.
