9th Contract Win For Intralot with U.S. Lottery Market

The successful vendor for the implementation of a new lottery gaming system for the New Hampshire Lottery has been selected.  Greece’s Intralot S.A. has won the contract which will also include the operation of online games and the management of instant games. This is Intralot’s ninth contract win in the U.S. and increases its expansion into the country’s profitable lottery market. 

In terms of the agreement, which covers an implementation period followed by six years of production operations and a further option for one four-year renewal, provision will be made by Intralot to operate online games and instant games management as well as retailer network, associated gaming products and support services.   A sturdy communications system will be created by Intralot for the lottery connecting more that 1,250 state-of-the-art terminals and peripherals to the LOTOSTM O/S Central System. The switch to the new system will take place on July 1st 2010. 

Richard Campbell, Chairman of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission said “We are very pleased to announce this Intent to Award contract to Intralot USA”.  He stated further that their applications had been put through a very rigorous vetting process and that they had found that Intralot scored overall highest during their review process for technology as well as price and that the lottery’s needs will be met for the duration of the contract.   

Intralot CEO, Constantinos Antonopoulos added that they were pleased that Intralot was entrusted with the operation of the New Hampshire Lottery and are sure that they will contribute to the evolution of the Lottery. Since 1964 the New Hampshire Lottery has funded education in the state to the tune of $1.4 billion.
