Full Tilt Online Poker Launches New Weekly Tournament

Poker News - September 29th, 2009 - Written by Glen

full tiltOccasionally we all have those Friday nights in which we cannot find a poker tournament. Thus, we sometimes turn to such lesser forms of entertainment as going to bars and picking up girls. Thankfully, Full Tilt Poker has recently added a brand new tournament format, available only on Friday nights.

Every Friday night, Full Tilt will be hosting a $75,000 dollar bounty tournament. The Buy-in is not to be trifled with, as the tournament costs $500+$35. Conversely, players can attempt to win one of the many satellites. These satellites run for as little as a buck, or even 50 Full Tilt points.

The bounty tournament, for players who do not know, give extra prizes each time a player eliminates an opponent. Of the $500 dollar buy in, $400 goes to the prize pool and $100 dollars goes toward your bounty. Every time a player causes an an opponent to bust, the successful player automatically gains $100 dollars.

Satellites are constantly running for these tournaments, so even the smallest bankroll could win a shot at this. Even busting ten players of probable pool of over a thousand would cause a gain of $1,000 dollars. The better a player is at busting their opponent, the more money they can pull down from this tournament. With satellites as low as a dollar, players can bust just one opponent and walk with more than enough to constitute the time spent.

Full Tilt Poker Room is offering a 100% deposit bonus up to $600 dollars. This is more than enough to cover the buy-in for a tournament, should you deposit $535 dollars. Thus, by depositing just enough for one Friday Night Sweat bounty tournament, a player can enjoy two of these high priced bounty tournaments, potentially winning much more than originally deposited.
