After a player accepts the role of shooter, he or she makes a come-out roll to establish a point. If the shooter's roll is a two, three, or twelve, craps is declared and the round ends with players losing their Pass line bets, with those who bet on the Don't Pass line win on the two or three, pushing on the twelve. A come-out roll that is a seven or eleven is termed "natural" and in turn results in a win for those who placed a bet on the Pass line, a loss for the Don't Pass bettors. Assuming a four, five, six, eight, nine, or ten are rolled on the come-out, a "point" is established (that number) and the come-out phase comes to an end. The dealer will then move an "on" button to the point number, indicating the point for all players. The shooter will not continue to roll until either the point or a seven is rolled. If the shooter succeeds in rolling the point, then the Pass line wins. If the shooter rolls a seven, referred to as a seven-out, the pass line loses and the Don't pass wins. A seven-out concludes the round, and the dice are subsequently passed - still clockwise - to the next player who is willing to roll. There are many choices available to bet on for those who are not the shooter, and this is where the confusion settles in. This number is subsequently the come bet point and the player is allowed to add odds to the bet. The dealer will set the odds on top of the come bet, with a slight disposition in order to be able to determine which is the odds bet and which is the original. The second round wins if the roller shoots the come bet prior to shooting a seven. It the seven comes first, the bet loses. There are also proposition bets that are placed on just the first roll the shooter makes, and these typically require you to bet on a certain number.
