NFL Week 3 Injury Report: Who’s In, Who’s Out

September 26, 2010 – By Scott

As Sunday nears and another great slate of games are awaiting in the NFL, sports bettors and Fantasy owners will need to be aware of which players will not be around for Week 3 and who is going to play.

The Indianapolis Colts are heading to Colorado as the favorites to take on the Denver Broncos and both teams will be without a few key players. For the Broncos, they have suffered the most crucial loss as they will be without starting running back Knowshon Moreno who is suffering from a pulled left hamstring. Denver has been horrible in their rushing attack and it probably will not get any better this Sunday with the loss of Moreno. Champ Bailey will also be a game time decision but he is expected to play.

The Colts have learned that they will be without wide receiver Pierre Garcon and linebacker Clint Sessions as both are suffering from hamstring injuries. Garcon has caught just 4 passes for 54 yards this season, but the Colts and Peyton Manning should be fine in his absence.

The San Diego Chargers will travel to play the Seattle Seahawks and they will probably be without running back Ryan Matthews. Matthews is suffering from a high ankle sprain and is listed as doubtful. This will mean that Mike Tolbert is expected to get the start. Matthews has rushed for 104 yards in two games but has not found the end zone. He has also fumbled twice which led to a total of 10 points for their opponents.

Washington running back Clinton Portis (wrist) and Arizona ruuning back Beanie Wells(knee) are also listed as questionable.
