World Series Of Poker Europe Main Event To Be Streamed On ESPN
September 21st, 2010-  By Bryan Cross

The World Series of poker Europe has been around for four years, growing annually.  That, is demonstrated even more this season, as ESPN has hopped on board and will broadcast the last two days of the Main Event series on the new ESPN3.com, complete with hole cards displayed.

The coverage for the event will be broadcast on September 27 and September 28, and will be shown on a delay of approximately five hours.

“ESPN is committed to delivering the best poker content to fans, and ESPN3 is the ideal format to showcase this great event as it happens,” remarked Doug White, who is the senior director of programming and acquisitions for ESPN.

The event will be held at the Empire Casino in London, beginning on the September 27.  Those interested will be able to watched the streaming of the event once the final table is established and the last nine players remain in the poker tournament.

The second day of coverage will last until the winner is decided.

The rules of displaying the hole cards will show them on the flop, or if a pre-flop hand takes over a minute to decide upon.  That, is a result of the five hour delay on the steaming.

Dave Tuchman and Bart Hanson will be the two commentators who will be on ESPN3.com for the streaming.
