Monday Night Football Betting Lines: San Francisco 49ers Player Props
September 20th, 2010-  By Bryan Cross

The San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints match up against each other on Monday night, each coming off of different paths in week one of the 2010 NFL Season.  For New Orleans, it was a tough win at home against Minnesota in a rematch of the NFC Championship game from last season.  For San Francisco, it was a wake up call, as they were beaten in every facet of the game in a 31-6 loss to Seattle.

Both of these teams entered this season as the betting favorites on USA Online Sportsbooks to win their respective division, the 49ers out of the NFC West, and the Saints out of the NFC South.

Looking ahead at this match up, there are several notable players capable of making a play of two that can shift the outcome of the game in San Francisco.  As such, oddsmakers have formulated a variety of prop bets for both teams in this one.  For the 49ers, Bodog Sportsbook has listed several highlighted players and prop bets designated to them.

Quarterback Alex Smith is the leader of the 49er offense, and had himself a forgettable game in week one.  As the calendar flips to the second week of the season, Smith knows that a solid performance against a good Saints defense can right the ship, and get San Francisco on a winning path.
