Air Conditioning Returns To Caesars Atlantic City

July 25th, 2010 – by Glen Farmer

Caesars Atlantic City had been troubled with broken air conditioning in their building, which had created a stifling heat within the building. This comes during one of the hottest summers in recent years.

Being that Atlantic City has been contending with revenue lower than acceptable, the air conditioning crisis had become a great cause for concern to the casino operators. After a brief stint of catastrophic heat, Caesars Atlantic City has finally restored full air conditioning to their casino.

“We are back to business as usual,” started Joe Domenico, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Caesars Atlantic City. “All of our guest rooms, restaurants, shops and the entire casino floor are 100 percent air conditioned. We are grateful to our guests for their cooperation during this period.”

Mr. Domenico had also stated a word of thanks to all of the casino’s staff for contending with the heat as well as they did.

According to a press release, the air conditioning had broken down across much of the Boardwalk due to a busted water main. Caesars had continued to operate through the use of “chiller” trucks that provided air cooling.

Caesars Atlantic City, like most of the casinos in Atlantic City, have been contending with revenue short falls throughout the last year, and the broken air conditioning may have worsened their quest for getting back above the average.

Until figures for the month are released and compared to last year’s, how the air conditioning crisis affected Caesars Atlantic City will be relatively unknown.

This problem has once again proven why New Jersey online casinos and indeed USA online casinos should be regulated.
