Android App Market Pulls Full Tilt’s Rush Poker Application

November 28th, 2010 – by Glen Farmer

Earlier in the week, Full Tilt had finally launched an application that would allow Android users easy access to their mobile Rush Poker Room. New rules and regulations surrounding the App market have since forced the application off the market.

The Android Market has forced the Rush Poker app out of the market as real money gambling is not allowed in the marketplace. It is unknown whether Android or Full Tilt was responsible for the removal of the application.

Full Tilt’s website still offers players the ability to download the application directly to their phone.

The application, while convenient, is not required in order to play Full Tilt’s real money poker games on a mobile device. The mobile section of the Full Tilt website has a link that leads directly to the flash based tables.

While meant for mobile devices, Full Tilt’s flash based poker room can be enjoyed on a desktop as well, thus negating the need of a download. Full Tilt’s Rush Poker tables can thus be played on any computer, regardless of ownership.

Previously, Bodog’s poker room was one of the only flash based poker rooms available, though they have, for the time being, pulled their instant play poker room in order to update and improve the service.
