Full Tilt Poker Launches First Mobile Poker Room

November 23rd, 2010 – by Glen Farmer

Full Tilt Poker, the fastest growing online poker room, has recently augmented their service by offering an additional way to play the games. Players now have the ability to participate in the games directly from their mobile device.

Full Tilt’s brand new poker app has come to the Android operating system. Provided the phone is using Android 2.2 and has the Flash plug in incorporated into the device, the phone can run Full Tilt’s poker app.

This marks the first real money poker app that American players can use on their mobile devices. While there were a few mobile online casinos operating for USA players, this is the first poker game that can be played by American residents.

There are a few limitations to the game. First off, players cannot actually deposit into their account without visiting the poker room on their desk top. There are also only cash games currently operating through the mobile app. Furthermore, not all levels of stake are available.

Rush Poker is the predominant game available through these options.

Those who want to play the game need not even download the app in order to do so, as the application just channels the games through the poker room’s flash site.

Players have reported that there are some lag issues, but the poker room is running around the clock for players to get involved in the games through their mobile device. Other mobiles that are planning on incorporating flash will also soon have access to this poker room, including Palm’s devices with the upgrade to WebOS 2.0.
