Rumors Abound Over Rush Poker Reaching Mobile Devices

October 12th, 2010 – by Glen Farmer

Full Tilt Poker recently introduced their Black Card service, a recognition system of status through their poker room. Bringing in over 500 Full Tilt Points on average in a 100 day period will earn this black card, and a recent rumor has exposed one major advantage to working toward a Black Card – mobile poker.

According to an e-mail sent out to Black Card members, Rush Poker Mobile is being introduced by Full Tilt. Available only to a handful of Android phones, due to their ability to play Flash applications, this mobile game represents one of the earliest forms of mobile gambling poker for USA players.

According to the e-mail, the HTC Desire, Droid Incredible, Evo 4G, Google Nexus One, Desire HD phones, the Motorola Droid 2, Pro, and X Motorola phones, the T-Mobile G2, and the Acer Liquid Stream S110 are the available devices currently hosting the required Android 2.2 software.

The mobile software has been designed for Flash, so it can also be played as a no download form of poker on a standard browser.

Unfortunately for iPhone users, this software cannot be played due to the lack of Flash support on the heavily restrictive iOS.

Users of the Palm WebOS will soon be able to partake in the mobile poker games, as Flash is soon to be introduced to the WebOS devices.

The mobile poker site is already operating, and those who wish to participate in the beta may e-mail in order to ask for an invitation.

In order to compete with Full Tilt, it is likely that other USA poker rooms will add mobile gambling to their sites, a form of gambling recently restricted to USA online casinos.
