NFL Star Kurt Warner A DWTS Favorite At Online Sportsbooks

September 29th, 2010 – Written By Bonnie

Dancing With The Stars is back for another season full of thrills and spills. Only two weeks into the competition, things are really starting to heat up. We have seen it all on Dancing With The Stars, and the celebrities that make it on the show prove it does not always take a dance background to entertain an audience of millions. From NFL stars like Kurt Warner, to politicians, Dancing With The Stars does not discriminate on professions. This can make for a very exciting night of dancing.

David Hasslehof has already outstayed his welcome, and was the first to be voted off of Dancing With The Stars Season 11. It was not for lack of dedication, it appeared as if he has given it his all, but sometimes natural talent does not follow everyone, especially when it comes to dance.

Week 2 proved to be just as hard for many of the contestants who received harsh criticism for their performance the week before. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his partner certainly had some making up to do after last week delivering a performance that made them a likely candidate for elimination. They managed to hold on for yet another week, and they were given a decent grade on their performance.

Michael Bolton and his partner were a different story. From the very start of the performance, audiences knew that this performance would leave them in jeopardy. They landed a score of 12. It was no surprise that the results show revealed that the second couple eliminated from the competition was Michael Bolton and his partner. It is surprising that someone with such a gifted vocal talent, he who had been giving performances for many years, could lack such coordination when it comes to moving across the stage.

Despite it being elimination night, audiences got to enjoy quality performances from Grammy award winner Seal and Janelle Monae. Seal and Janelle Monae were not the only special guests in the house. Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin cheered on her daughter from the audience this week and got what appeared to be a little cheering of her own. Audience members were caught on camera giving negative feedback, which appeared to be from the presence of Sarah Palin. It was later revealed that audience members were actually responding to a low score that was handed out to Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough.

As the weeks go by, the stakes get higher on Dancing With The Stars and online sportsbooks are there to follow all the action this season. Entertainment betting odds are generally listed weekly, which offer odds on which of the celebrities are most likely to take home the title as winner of Dancing With The Stars season 11.
