2010 NFL Week 6 Matchups | 2010 NFL Weekly Matchups

2009 NFL Week 6 Preview host only two divisional games in the Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers Game and, the Monday night game of the Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers.  Last year the Chargers took the AFC West division title with the same record as the Denver Broncos at 8-8.  This 2009 NFL season week 6 match up just might decide who wins the Division this season.

The big news last year in week 6 of the NFL season, was the loss of Dallas Cowboy starting quarterback Tony Romo.  After forcing an overtime at home in Dallas against the Arizona Cardinals,  Quarterback Tony Romo was pressured out of the pocket and sacked while trying to dump the ball off on 3rd down.  The Cowboys were forced to punt on 4th down, after the long snap Cardinals special teams player Monty Beisel blocked the punt and recovered the fumble in the end zone for the game wining touchdown.  It was discovered later on that day through X-Rays that Tony Romo's right pinkie finger was fractured.  This led to Romo missing 4 games in which the cowboys lost 3, putting an end to the Cowboys playoff hopes.  This year the Cowboys avoid this tragedy by scheduling a bye week on week 6 of the 2009 NFL season.
