For the Cleveland Browns 2009 Schedule, they will have the pleasure of receiving Eric Mangini as their new coach. The Browns have not had a conference championship added to their achievements since the 1960's and fans wonder if Mangini is capable of turning this around. Mangini has 4 years to turn the Browns around, and fans are optimistic that they will advance through the league. The Browns have suffered the embarrassment of holding the record for two sequential shutouts as well as having run 24 quarters in a row without having a single touchdown.

In an attempt to recover from earlier blunders, the Browns have attempted to bolster their offense. They picked a new center as well as two wide receivers in the 2009 NFL draft. The newcomers may prove to be just what the Browns need to augment and improve their ability to score points. In addition, their new coach has hands on experience as a defensive player and had trained under Bill Belichick, so his knowledge combined with the continued tenacity of the Browns line up, they may see some increased potential, motivation, morale, and ability through out the 2009 Cleveland Browns schedule.
