The Open is annually the biggest tennis tournament held within the United States of America, and always attracts the best talent in the world. This year will be no exception. For fans of the women's game, they will be treated to play from Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova, Elena Dementieva, and Dinara Safina. All in all, this shapes up to be a great tournament for tennis fans around the world to enjoy.

Starting on August 31st, 2009 and running until the championships on September 13th, 2009, the U.S. Open continually attracts more visitors each year.
