New Promotion Abound Through Full Tilt Poker

Poker News - October 9th, 2009 - Written by Glen

full tilt pokerFull Tilt, which is sponsored by Poker greats such as Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, and many others, is well known for the intuitive and creative promotions that they offer their players. The most recent addition to their promotions is the "Piece of Ivey" promotion.

Phil Ivey stands to win millions through the WSOP's 40th annual Main Event, and now all players through Full Tilt have a chance to take down a piece of his pot. Between the dates of October 8th and November 5th, participants will be eligible to take down up to $255,000 from Ivey's winnings in the WSOP, $50,000 dollars from freerolls, of a piece of the $150,000 dollar giveaway. There are many ways to enter, and many will win.

In the "1% of Ivey" promotion, players will earn tickets to this tournament through Full Tilt Points, accrued either through Ring Games, Tournaments, or Sit and Go's. The number of tickets per Full Tilt Point varies according to how many people are participating, but each point will allow players to take a seat at the ultimate tournament. The winner will not only take a piece of the $50,000 dollar prize pool, but also 1% of Phil Ivey's winnings from the World Series of Poker Main Event.

The "5% of Ivey" tournaments will work just like the 1%, but only nine players will participate. The winner will take 3 of the 5%, giving him or her up to $255,000 dollars, should Ivey win first place, or roughly $85,000 dollars if the player takes second or third place. Regardless, the stakes are low, the winnings are high, and it is all up to you and Ivey to pull through as a de facto team.

The Daily Cash Draw will also be taking place for the month, but this time random players will be awarded money just for playing at a table. The more you play, the more you can win, and prizes range from $5 to $100 dollars for free.

Only until early November will this promotion be active, as the Final Table of the WSOP Main Event will then conclude. Until then, Full Tilt wishes you good luck, and have fun at the tables.
