ClubWPT Giving Players a Shot at Exclusive Celeb Tournament

The most exclusive poker tournament in the world, the Annual WPT Invitational, is near impossible to receive access into. ClubWPT is offering players a shot at 1 of 12 seats in this exclusive Online Poker tournament, at which players will see the likes of the Phil's Ivey and Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, newly crowned Poker Hall of Famer Mike Sexton, and Daniel Negreanu, but also some of the biggest celebrities in the world - Paris Hilton, Mena Suvari, Ben Affleck, Jason Alexander, and Vince Vaughn.

This invitational is toted as a red carpet event, bringing players in only be invitation. ClubWPT is hosting an 11-week series to send twelve of their top players to Los Angeles with $1,000 dollars cash, two VIP party passes, as well as the seat in the tournament. The party will allow the winners to rub elbows with some of poker's and Hollywood's finest, most charismatic individuals - a great time for those who harbor contempt for certain players or celebrities, those who would die to meet the stars, or even those who just enjoy the prestige of poker.

The invitational will take place in February, on the 20th and the 21st, leading to a busted bubble of six players who will reassemble in early March to finish off the tournament in a televised setting. A prize pool of $200,000 is up for grabs, as is a WPT title. This will be the 8th annual WPT invitational.

Wednesday, October 21st, was the first day of the qualifiers. Four opportunities come in November, then another five in December, with the final chance at the invitation coming on Sunday, January 3rd, 2010.

Dates and times are subject to change at the discretion of the hosts, but this is unlikely. ClubWPT.com is hosting the event, and entrance into these tournaments comes completely free - all it will take to win this prize is skill, determination, and perhaps a little luck.
