3 More Winners Announced From 2009 World Series Of Poker

Villie Wahlbeck was over come with emotions when being named the champion of event 12 of the 2009 WSOP, the World Championship Mixed Event. This was Wahbeck's first gold bracelet and he could not hold back the tears of joy as he took a moment to let the reality sink in what he had just accomplished. This win added $492,375 to his 2009 WSOP earnings which prior to this win were $153,000 for finishing 3rd in the Seven Card Stud World Championship. We can only assume that this victory may of changed his recent thoughts of quiting poker. Congratulations to Villie Wahlbeck.

Keven Stammen takes home a cool $506,786 after winning event 13 of the 2009 WSOP, the No Limit Holdem. This event brought out over 1087 entrants with a buy in of only $2500. The first two days involved over 13 hours a play for each day with only 20 players returning to the final day. Luckily enough for Stammen, his poker skills were strong enough to include him in the final 20 count and his aggressiveness was enough to keep him there till the end. With only 7.5 of game play, Stammen was the last man standing and took home not only the title and prize money, he took home his very first WSOP bracelet.

Out of 367 entrants, Brock Parker manages to hold his own and come out on top as the w inner of event 14 of the 2009 WSOP , the No Limit Hold'em / Six Handed tournament. The first two days were challenging , yet Parker managed to keep himself some where in the middle of the pack. Parker battled it out with Daniel Negreanu in the final hours but Negreanu was no match for Parker's aggressiveness and determination to make this his first 2009 WSOP win and walk away with his first gold bracelet. This tournament win not only gave him a bracelet , a prize of $223,688, and the title, he is now the winner of the this event with the largest tournament score which was worth more than all previous tournaments wins combined.
