Online Poker TV Show "2 Months, 2 Million" to Debut on G4

Poker News - July 29th, 2009 - Written by Bruce

The new G4 television show, "2 Months, 2 Million", will take viewers into the lives of four of the top online poker players in the world. The basic premise of the show is to see if four well known high stakes poker players can collectively make $2,000,000 in only two months. Remarkably all of them are between the ages of 22 and 24. The four poker players are Jay "pr1nnyraid" Rosenkrantz, Emil "Whitelime" Patel, Brian "Flawless_Victory" Roberts, and Dani "Ansky" Stern. The four of them are going to live in a 10,000 square foot Las Vegas mansion together just outside of the Vegas Strip. The show will debut on August 16th at 9 p.m. on the G4 and is scheduled to have ten thirty minute episodes.

This is a very unique show idea which will be unlike any other poker television show before it. Much of the episodes will deal with the four of them playing the highest stakes online cash games trying to reach the two million dollar mark between them. In a funny twist the house will have a "Tilt Room" in which the players will take out their frustrations from bad beats at the tables. The "Tilt Room" will be filled with fruit and vegetables that the players will bash with baseball bats and hockey sticks to take out their frustrations. The poker will be played in the so called "War Room" which will have multiple 50" monitors for the players to play on. Besides all of the poker action, the show will also follow the players around in the Vegas scene. One episode will show them eating dinner with poker phenom Tom "durrr" Dwan and another will feature them playing David Benyamine in some incredibly high stakes poker games.

All four of the players have had plenty of success at their young ages. Dani Stern finished fourth at the recent 2009 WSOP 40K No Limit tournament earning himĀ  $548,315. Emil Patel finished second in the Full Tilt Poker heads up tournament for a nice payday of $320,000. Brian Roberts and Jay Rosenkrantz are no slouches as they have proven themselves to be two very successful high stakes cash game players. All four of them actually cashed in the 2008 WSOP Heads Up tournament. There is no doubt that "2 Months, 2 Million" will give viewers a rare look into the high stakes world of some of the top online poker players.
