With another big Philadelphia-New York game coming later in the night, Philadelphia Eagles fans were treated to a one-sided slugfest in which their team racked up 40 points against the Giants and easily won their second division game of the year, 40-17, and are still undefeated in the NFC East.

Donovan McNabb had three touchdown tosses and DeSean Jackson scored his third touchdown in two games to take advantage of a slew of errors by their counterparts.

Later in the day, the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees will square off in Game Four of the World Series. And just like Saturday's Game Three, this rivalry packed a lot of offense. All of McNabb's scores came in the first half, hitting three different targets in the process. Jackson, Brent Celek and Jeremy Maclin each had a touchdown catch of at least 17 yards.

The win only creates that much more buzz about the Eagles' meeting with the Dallas Cowboys next week, a team that also played nearly flawless in a win against the Seattle Seahawks.

New York was actually favored by one, but Eli Manning was intercepted twice and had several other misfires, completing just over half of his passes. He has now lost three-straight and the Giants appear to be very beatable, allowing 112 points over that span. Meanwhile, the Eagles defense was terrific again, allowing fewer than 17 points in it's fifth-consecutive game.

Philadelphia took the lead on their first possession of the game when Leonard Weaver took a handoff up the middle for a 41-yard score on one of his rare touches. The ensuing Giants' possession set up more points for the Eagles when Asante Samuel picked up an interception and took the ball down to New York's seven. After a holding call, McNabb hit Brent Celek to make it 13-0, and a field goal by David Akers took that lead even higher.

The Giants scratched back into it when Manning threw his lone touchdown pass to Kevin Boss, but McNabb again hooked up with Jackson for a big play with a 54-yarder that sent the crowd packing for the World Series.

With the game long decided, running back LeSean McCoy only padded his stats in the fourth quarter. Replacing starter Brian Westbrook, McCoy had less than 20 yards on the ground at that point and didn't appear to have the breakout ability he showed early in the year. That was, of course, until his eighth carry, taking a handoff 66 yards, juking and stuttering down the left side of the field to beat three defenders to the pylon.
