American Idol is on of the most watched reality shows on television and we are only a couple of months from Season 9 taking off. Last year, Kris Allen got to hear those amazing words that every contestant dreams of hearing, "the winner of season 8 of American Idol is...Kris Allen". Just like that, his dreams of becoming an entertainer came true and his life was sent in an entirely different direction. Almost immediately, his fame spread like a wild fire with fans eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first album. Kris Allen proved to be one of the most talented voices in American and soon, the journey will begin for other dream seekers.

In just a few short months, Season 9 of American Idol will start the long journey of finding our next American Idol. This season, Paula will not be there to keep the other judges grounded or keep falling stars dreams alive. This season welcomes funny lady and Emmy award winning talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen joins the panel of judges as the fourth judge on American Idol. While Ellen appears to be quite the comedian, there will be nothing funny about her responsibilities to help decide who will become the next American Idol. Judges travel to 6 cities in search of contestants for season 9 of American Idol. Although the judges held auditions in Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Orlando, people come from all over the United States for their chance to be in the spot light and hopefully impress the judges with their vocal talent.
