Fans Eagerly Await Season 9 Of American Idol

American Idol fans are ready and waiting for season 9 to begin. American Idol is one of the most watched reality shows around today, and has been from season 1. American Idol has turned out some of the biggest vocal sensations ever to hit our generation of pop culture. Carrie Underwood took home the title just a few seasons ago and has soared to complete stardom since. She has graced the cover of many magazines and has added a number of prestige awards to her mantle. American Idol is said to be a stepping stone for many people trying to make it in the entertainment business. Many try, but very few make it all the way to national stardom.

Thousands of contestants come from all over the United states, for their shot to make a lasting impression on the judges. Far to often do these hopefuls get a taste of reality and come to grips with the fact that they may not have the vocal talent to make it in this cut throat business. While the judges can be harsh at times, leading someone down a path that has not hope, it more cruel than any brutally honest comments that might come from the judges. The judges simply try to make people aware that dreaming is ok, but when you rearrange your life for a career you are just not ready for, it can cause more damage than you might of anticipated.

Paula has been the voice of reason for many years, but this year we say goodbye to Paula and welcome comedian and award winning talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen joining the panel of judges for season 9 of American Idol, and this year is sure to bring in a lot of changes. No one can predict how the role of Ellen will play out, but we can certainly expect for some laughter and or dancing, from Ellen herself.

Season 9 of American Idol is set to air in January of 2010. Fans all over the United States are eagerly awaiting its arrival and look forward to all the videos of the do's and dont's that take place during the auditions. Even if you are not as much of a fan of American Idol as the rest of American, you can not help but tune in to the first few weeks of comical auditions.
