Odds Up for the Winner of Survivor: Samoa

Reality TV Is one of the most popular forms of television entertainment, and people tend to prefer the major competitions over dramatic encounters. Survivor, one of the earliest and top ranked reality television series, and in the middle of September, Survivor went to Samoa.

We've seen many games already, including the Puppet Master, a game involving swimming into the ocean for a key, the Taking Candy From a Baby event, an event in which contestants battled it out for the reward of fishing gear, and other events that would reward comfort items, such as pillows, and better food.

Survivor: Samoa has twelve contestants on the ballot, each with appropriate odds. As it stands, Mick Trimming is expected to win, standing with odds of +175. His closest competitor, Erik Cardona, holds +250. Russel Hantz is stuck with +325 to win, with Jason Robinson right behind him with odds of +375. Dave Ball, holder of odds +475, is next in line as the expected victor. Natalie White, one of the few women remaining, holds odds of +500. Kelly Sharbaugh, stands behind Natalie, with odds of +525. The next two contestants both hold +625, and they are both female - Monica Padilla and Shannon Waters. Brett Clouser holds odds of +675, with Laura Morett struggling behind him with odds of +725. Finally, John Fincher - the least likely to win, according to BetED Sportsbook, runs with a line of +875.

The next event is the "All Hell Breaks Loose" event, and is set to air November 5th, 2009. Other lines are available through this USA online sportsbooks, including what gender the winner will be, with both male and female sporting equal odds, while the tribe to win is also available for a bit. Fao Fao holds odds of -105, while the Galu hold -135. The excitement has no where to go but up, and this should be one of the best season finales of Survivor to date.
