Bodog Signs 3 Millionth Customer

June 8th, 2009 - Written by Renee

bodogBodog is the entertainment group founded by the legendary Calvin Ayre. Recently Ayre sold the North American online gambling portal of Bodog to the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group. This brand of Bodog is powered by Real Time Gaming and accepts players from the United States. Bodog also offers online sports betting, horseracing and online poker in addition to online casino games.

Last week the North American Bodog brand proudly announced that Charles C. of Arizona had signed up as Bodog’s lucky 3 millionth customer. Earlier in May Bodog had anticipated this landmark and had offered a special sign-up package for its 3 millionth customer, which went to Charles. The package consisted of $100 in BodogLive credits, $100 in Casino chips, $25 to be used in the Racebook and a $109 buy-in to one of Bodog’s Sunday $100,000 guaranteed online poker tournaments.

Elizabeth Fairview, a writer for Bodog’s blog, the Bodog Beat, interviewed Charles about his plans for the exclusive prize package. Charles first said, “I came to Bodog for the convenience of betting live versus driving 30 miles to place a bet.” Charles will be wagering his $100 in BodogLive credits on his favorite NBA team, the L.A. Lakers. He will be using his $100 in Casino chips to play Pai Gow Poker. The horseracing bet will go on either “Mine That Bird” or “Chocolate Candy” in the 141st Belmont Stakes.

Meanwhile Bodog Casino is planning for its next two landmarks. One is its 4 millionth sign-up and the other is the 15 year anniversary of the Bodog brand.
